Minnie Hauk made short work of her five rivals in the Clem Murphy Memorial Irish EBF Mooresbridge Stakes at the Curragh on Monday.
A three-time Group 1 winner last season, the four-year-old filly was the odds-on favourite to make a winning reappearance but she did drift in price near the off to a generous-looking 4/6.

Ryan Moore kept the Aidan O'Brien-trained favourite towards the rear of the field in the early stages as stable companion and rank outsider Edward Hamilton raced into a huge lead.
Entering the closing stages, as the leader weakened, it became clear that Minnie Hauk was the only one of the chasing pack able to accelerate and, with minimum urging from Moore, the star filly eased clear for a near two-length success.
Edward Hamilton held on for second, just ahead of the eyecatching Adelaide River, making his debut for Joseph O'Brien following a stint in Australia.
Minnie Hauk is likely to be aimed at the Tattersalls Gold Cup over the same course and distance on Irish Guineas weekend for her next start.
O’Brien, who enjoyed a classic-winning weekend with True Love in the 1000 Guineas said: “That was lovely. You’d be delighted with that.
“The plan was to come back here and we wanted a nice, even pace so she could get back into gear a little bit. We didn’t want a dawdle.
“Ryan was very happy with her. He said he just let her point her toe a bit in the last furlong. The Tattersalls Gold Cup (May 24th) is the plan and then on to Ascot, that’s the perfect prep for it.”
