SHAQUILLE will stand at a fee of £10,000 next season, down from £15,000 this year.

Standing at Ace Stud in Newmarket on behalf of Yulong Investments, Shaquille was crowned Cartier Champion Sprinter and Longines World’s Best 3YO Sprinter in 2023.

Trained by Julie Camacho, he won seven of his nine strats, including the Group 1 Commonwealth Cup at Royal Ascot and the Group 1 July Cup at Newmarket.

By Charm Spirit, a son of Invincible Spirit, he stems from the family of champion older mare and top-rated older sprinter Danehurst (by Danehill).

Paul Curran of Ace Stud said: “Shaquille has been really well supported by top breeders since retiring to stud. He has covered more than 275 mares in his first two seasons, including Ace Stud’s own quality band of broodmares. We have reduced his fee and changed his terms to January 1st Special Live Foal in order to give breeders the opportunity to use an exciting young stallion at an attractive price.”

“The feedback on his first foals has been very positive and we eagerly await them going through the sales ring at Goffs, Tattersalls and Arqana in the coming weeks.

Shaquille will be available to view at Ace Stud in Dullingham during the Tattersalls December Sales from Saturday, November 29th to Tuesday, December 2nd, from 10am to 3pm, on the hour, every hour.

Soldier’s Call will not be standing at Ace Stud in 2026.
