THE prospect of racing continuing at Thurles remains a possibility following a “positive” meeting between Horse Racing Ireland [HRI], the Association of Irish Racecourses [AIR] and members of the Molony family on Thursday.

Two weeks ago the Molonys made the surprise announcement to “retire from racing” at the venue, marking the end of more than a century of racing at Thurles under Molony management.
