THE Appeals Panel will decide on Wednesday whether or not to amend the Galway Hurdle result.
Helvic Dream was first past the post in the €270,000 race, defeating Ndaawi by a head, but the placings were reversed by the raceday stewards who ruled the interference had affected the result.
An appeal has been lodged by the connections of Helvic Dream, whose trainer Noel Meade said: “Every video I look at seems to suggest that Jack (Kennedy, on Ndaawi) got every chance to win the race and didn’t go through with it as much as anything else. He was leaning on my lad as much as my lad was leaning on him.”
