CHARLIE Johnston added another feather to his cap when Timeforshowcasing justified favouritism in Sunday’s German 1000 Guineas, a race twice won by his father.
The 15,000gns yearling won her first two starts as a juvenile and, after two defeats at group level, landed a £100,000 contest at Glorious Goodwood. The Jaber Abdullah-owned filly made a successful return in the Listed Burradon Stakes at Newcastle in April, but failed to make an impression in the 1000 Guineas at Newmarket.
