Following the cancellation of the Fairyhouse meeting scheduled for Tuesday, November 11th due to waterlogging, Horse Racing Ireland has announced that a replacement meeting will now take place at Fairyhouse on Friday, November 21st.
This meeting will close for entries by noon next Monday, November 17th with declarations to run to be made by 10am on Wednesday, November 19th.
The race programme will be published on the HRI RAS website in due course.
Tuesday's card was cancelled following an inspection on Tuesday morning, as the track was found to be unfit for racing.
Brendan Sheridan, IHRB Clerk of the Course said: “Unfortunately the track at Fairyhouse is now unfit for racing following a further 17mm of rain overnight.
“We have had 27mm of rain here since Friday night and there is further heavy rain forecast for the remainder of today so we’ve been left with no option but to cancel this fixture."
