THERE was dismay in US racing circles this week with the news that Arlington Park, one of the most popular racetracks in the US, is to be sold.
Track owners Churchill Downs Incorporated announced that it had launched a process to sell the Arlington International Racecourse, the 326-acre property in Arlington Heights, Chicago, to be marketed for development.
