WITH venues beginning to open up in Britain, anyone in London next week should not miss out on a major exhibition of Lionel Edwards works at the Osborne Studio Gallery in Mayfair, at 2 Motcomb Street.

The British Sporting Art Trust presents Lionel Edwards: Seen from the Saddle, the first major exhibition of his work since 1986 and opens on the 55th anniversary of his death in 1966. The British artist specialised in painting horses and other aspects of country life. Considered a leading artist of hunting scenes, he also painted pictures of racing, shooting and fishing.
