DAVID Minton took time out from the recent store sales to celebrate his 75th birthday at the Dunraven Arms Hotel in Adare, Co Limerick.

With his wife Juliet of Mill House Stud, the leading bloodstock agent was joined for the party by trainer Jessica Harrington, Nicky and Sophie Henderson, Anthony and Anna Bromley, Henry and Vanessa Beeby, Harry and Lorna Fowler, Bridget Spiers, Richie and Emma Galway, Bryan and Iseult Murphy, Merrick Francis, and Peter and Sarah Molony.

The list of top-class National Hunt horses bought by David is too long to list here, but it includes multiple winners of the Grand National, Gold Cup and Champion Chase.
