THREE winners at Navan last Saturday capped off a memorable month for jockey Brian Hayes who married Rachael Blackmore earlier this month.

Speaking to Johnny Ward on Racing TV following one of his winners last weekend, Brian confirmed that the ceremony took place in Rosscarbery, West Cork.

“We got married on the Friday down home in Rosscarbery, in my home place,” he said. “Went up to Cavan then on the Monday and had a big party up there with all our friends and family and it was nice. Just nice to get married, finally.”

To no suprise, the honeymoon has been postponed until the end of the season.
