WELL done to the Irish Stablestaff Association (ISA) and Leopardstown Racecourse for going the extra mile for grooms last Sunday.
Bernard Caldwell of the ISA reported: “In order that horseboxes could avoid the protests and roadblocks, we asked Leopardstown to open the stableyard earlier than usual and we sponsored a full cooked breakfast for all grooms who were there. Over 100 people availed of it and Ballylinch Stud provided them with lunch vouchers.”
