JUST last month, Pony Tales reported a number of engagements and pregnancy announcements from well-known international athletes, and this week bring you the news that the show jumping world number one, Switzerland’s Steve Guerdat, has tied the knot.

Guerdat married long-time girlfriend, French show jumper Fanny Skalli. The pair have been engaged since July 2019 and are expecting their first child together this year. Describing the day on her Instagram page, Skalli said: “It was a wedding we could call atypical – the decision to get married five days before the date, with the current situation only one witness per person, a dress found in less than 24 hours…But I prefer to remember that I said yes to the man of my life!”
