PONY Club parents know what it means to be kept busy, especially those whose children become involved with Minimus and Tetrathlon. Not only are they required at times to muck out, feed and possibly exercise a variety of horses and ponies but there are also early morning visits to the swimming pool and late night ones to the gym.

For those whose children get on international teams, there can be trips on the ferry and the roads around Britain and, should those same offspring graduate to Pentathlon, then travel to many parts of the world is added to the mix! One such mother is Anne Healy whose sons Edward and Mike have represented the Warrington Branch, the Irish Pony Club and Ireland in these multi-discipline sports.
