THE engagement has recently been announced of Serena Cookson, granddaughter of the late Lord and Lady Hemphill from the famous Tulira Connemara Pony Stud, to well known National Hunt jockey Nico de Boinville, based with top British trainer Nicky Henderson. Nico has ridden many Cheltenham winners including Sprinter Sacre, Altior, Might Bite and he also won the Cheltenham Gold Cup (Coneygree). Their families and many friends are delighted for the couple.
