WAIT till I tell ye about our 2018 Harvest Festival, which was our 160th anniversary. Thank God we had a brilliant week. Just one bad day weather-wise on the Monday which was a shame as we did a bit of rejigging and made it an all flat card which turned out to be a cracking programme with a full field of 16 for our feature listed race won by Panstarr for Jim Bolger.

This meant the jump boys had a day off, while the flat boys had a day off on the Tuesday for an all-jumping card. Wednesday with the week’s highlight race the Guinness Kerry National continues to be a traditional day in the calendar with the guts of 27,000 turning up to see Snow Falcon give Noel Meade his first win in the race.
