IF you’re going to be in lockdown and you’re an artist, it would be hard to beat cocooning in the landscape around the small village of Skeaghvasteen, Co Kilkenny which provides inspiration and solace in droves.

Caroline Couchman, sculptor and painter, has found plenty of creative energy over years of living there, surrounded by horses, dogs and an abundance of wildlife all of which is reflected in her acute representations in bronze and ceramics.
