CIAN O’Connor is now the leading Irish show jumper in the latest FEI world rankings.

Following his team gold and individual bronze medal win at the Longines FEI European Championships at Gothenburg in Sweden, O’Connor is now the highest-placed Irish rider on the latest Longines World Show Jumping Rankings, climbing six places to No.19.

In 20th place is Co Wexford's Bertram Allen with Tipperary's Denis Lynch at No.27 (up eight places) and Shane Sweetnam at No.35 (also up eight places).

Daniel Coyle is at No.41, with Darragh Kenny at No.43 and Conor Swail at 54. Shane Breen made one of the biggest jumps this month, moving up 52 places to 58, while Billy Twomey (No.76) and Richie Moloney (No.81) make it 10 Irish riders inside the top 100.

American rider Kent Farrington holds onto top spot for the fifth consecutive month, with Lorenzo De Luca (ITA) in second and McLain Ward (USA) in third.

REYNOLDS TOP SPOT

In the Dressage World Rankings, Kildare’s Judy Reynolds maintains her position inside the top 20 and now stands at No.16 in the world.

Germany’s Isabell Werth continues to occupy the top position.
