The Teofilo colt was twice placed in Group 2 company this year and was sent off the 11/4 second favourite to win this nine-furlong listed race on his seasonal reappearance. Ridden by James Doyle, Mildenberger got rolling late in the day to peg back the front-running Fortune's Pearl in the closing stages.
There was a good break back to the third-placed Kew Gardens, representing the Aidan O'Brien-Ryan Moore combination.
Johnston indicated he would look at the Dante Stakes in York next month for the winner, who carries the colours of Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum.
"It could be the Dante or one of the other Derby trials." - Mark Johnston reflects on Mildenberger's success in the bet365 Feilden Stakes @NewmarketRace and discusses future plans. #Craven

Earlier in the day, the John Gosden-trained Pursuer defeated the odds-on Symbolization in a seven-furlong conditions race and was nominated by the trainer as a Jersey Stakes candidate at Royal Ascot.
The Aidan O'Brien-trained Van Beethoven was sent off favourite for the two-year-old maiden but he could only finish third to Tom Dascombe's Jackstar, a very smart-looking son of Dark Angel.
Godolphin was on the mark in the opening three-year-old maiden when the Charlie Appleby-trained Aurum made a winning debut. The Exceed And Excel colt looks one to follow, although the same comment could apply to Porth Swtan, winner of the second division of that maiden in a faster time. This son of Invincible Spirit raced six times without winning last season.
