AFTER more than one date change this year, the Arqana Select Yearling Sale is set to take place next week. The Deauville auction usually takes place in mid-August but was rescheduled to late September because of the Covid-19 disruptions, before being brought forward by two weeks to next Wednesday to Friday, September 9th-11th, in a more recent reshuffle of the yearling sales dates.
A total of 492 yearlings have been catalogued and, by last Tuesday evening, only around 30 had been withdrawn. The catalogue is divided into two parts: Part I will cover the first two days, and Part II the last day.
