Champion jockey Jim Crowley has been released from hospital this evening while fellow rider Frederik Tylicki remains in hospital but is reported conscious and in a stable condition in intensive care overnight following a serious incident at Kempton today. The latest Injured Jockeys briefing brought more positive news after an afternoon of concern for the two riders. A further update will be givne tomorrow once more is known - the IJF stated on its facebook page.
The accident occurred as the field rounded the home turn in the 3.20 race the Breeders Backing Racing EBF Maiden Fillies' Stakes.
