MARY Fitzgerald has issued a final call to those interested in taking her Horses for Course series of evening lectures. The new weekly series starts on Monday week, February 10th in Dublin’s Talbot Hotel, Stillorgan.
Each Monday evening for six weeks there will be a two-hour talk given by industry professionals. Speakers include HRI chief executive Brian Kavanagh, Denis Egan of the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board, trainers Henry de Bromhead and Sheila Lavery, and racing journalists Leo Powell and Donn McClean.
The course also includes a trip to the Irish National Stud, a free raceday and a weekly prize draw.
Registration is €185 per person but an early bird fee of €155 is available until this Sunday evening (February 2nd).
