TARNAWA thrust herself into the reckoning for a classic assault as she produced an ultra-game display to overcome the odds-on Who’s Steph and give Dermot Weld a fifth victory in the Group 3 Irish National Stud Racing Irish EBF Blue Wind Stakes.

After running a good third to the current Oaks favourite Pink Dogwood at Navan last month, Tarnawa (4/1) produced her best effort yet on her first try at Group 3 level.
