“I was quite upset not to be competing and taking part and then I got asked to do a demonstration and I thought ‘absolutely, I love riding here!’”

Charlotte rode Mount St John Freestyle, who she says gives her flashes of riding Valegro.

Speaking of Valegro (or Blueberry as he is known as), she added: “He is fantastic. I jumped him on Friday, he is having the time of his life. we are hacking, going through the fields, he is just enjoying life now, and he can eat what he wants – lucky him!”
