CONGRATULATIONS to Jonathan Gordon, winner of The Irish Field/Gain Horse Feeds Star of the Month award for December.

The young Mayo rider was nominated for the award after he pulled off major victory at the 30th International Stuttgart German Masters with his new mare Emma Brown last month. In front of nearly 8,000 spectators, the 20-year-old Irishman got the better of some of the Germany’s top riders to clinch the victory in the BW-Bank Indoor Championships. The pair also won a fancy dress jumping speed class at the FEI show later the same weekend and earlier this year were in the ribbons in Wiener Neustadt, Arena Nova CSI*** and at the CSI** in Boll.
