A HOST of personal best scores have left the Irish young rider eventing team in fourth place overall after dressage, less than three points behind leaders Britain, heading into today’s (Saturday) cross-country phase of the European eventing championships for young riders at Strzegom in Poland.

Harold Megahey and Chuckelberry are best placed of the Irish in 10th place individually, scoring 44.70, with Kelley Hutchinson riding Ballyduff A-Z (ISH) and Cathal Daniels aboard Rioghan Rua (ISH) in joint 17th place after they both finished on a score of 47.50.
