THE silver medal-winning Irish evening team have been nominated for RTÉ Sport Awards Team of the Year at the annual RTÉ Sport Awards 2018, which take place on Saturday night, December 15th.

In winning that medal they became the first Irish team in any sport to qualify for the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games.

The team come up against stiff competition in Limerick Hurling, Dublin Football, the Irish rugby team and Ireland's women hockey team, among others, and will need your help as the winner will be decided by a public vote on Saturday evening. Voting will open after 9pm on Saturday evening and details on how to vote will be released in due time.

Chef d’equipe Sally Corscadden, who has been hailed as a game changer in senior Irish eventing, has also been nominated for RTÉ Sport Manager of the Year. That award will be voted for by an expert panel.
