THE IPS South Leinster/ Waterford Annual awards went down a real treat last weekend with IPS members being treated to a Halloween themed event in the Old Granary at Borris House.

The converted granary was an ideal venue for the occasion, with scary decorations put up by enthusiastic members, in particular the Blanchfield family who had put in a huge effort with a plethora of pumpkins, spiders and cobwebs. Committee members produced a marvellous selection of food, while the younger members, most of them in fancy dress, enjoyed themselves with apple bobbing and nut scrambles, while a pumpkin piñata received a severe bashing before finally disintegrating!
