EOIN McMahon and Jack Ryan both scored top placings at the two-star show in Riesenbeck, Germany, last weekend.

Based at Ludger Beerbaum’s venue in Riesenbeck, Clare’s Eoin McMahon was keen to make an impact at his resident base and he did so when winning Saturday’s two-star 1.30m on his first outing with Conan Doyle, an eight-year-old by Con Chello who is owned by Ludger Beerbaum Stables GmbH. The pair posted the fastest of 15 clear rounds in 64.06 seconds ahead of Frenchman Yann Chartier Capitaine and Pluto 75 (0/ 64.64).
