IRELAND’s Daniel Coyle very narrowly missed out on claiming the prestigious $40,000 CSI2* Caledon Cup in Ontario, Canada, last Sunday, just pipped at the post by Canadian Olympian Amy Millar. This competition features three separate phases and Millar’s overall consistency with Truman put her at the top of the standings to win her first Caledon Cup. She was also awarded the inaugural $10,000 Caledon Cup rider bonus.

When the points were all tabulated for the Caledon Cup following the three phases, Millar was tied on 37 points with Daniel Coyle, who had won Friday night’s featured event with CHS Krooze (ISH). However, as the top performer in the final phase, Millar got the overall nod as the 2019 Caledon Cup winner.
