FOLLOWING a five-star Grand Prix win in Tryon last weekend, Co Down’s Conor Swail travelled to the Royal West show in Alberta, Canada, where he won the $100,000 Truman Homes Cup, the feature class of the show.

Riding the eight-year-old gelding Koss Van Heiste, who is owned by Eadaoin Collins, Swail headed an Irish one-two and a brilliant day for his team as his student, Vanessa Mannix (Canada), slotted into third place.
