IRISH riders are continuing to shine at the Spanish sunshine tour in Vejer de la Frontera, with Bertram Allen winning Friday’s Big Tour and Michael G Duffy finishing best of the Irish in the three-star Grand Prix.

British riders dominated Sunday’s 1.50m Grand Prix when youngster Jake Saywell romped to victory in the 13-horse jump-off aboard Havinia van de Roshoeve in 41.19 seconds. Guy Williams was second with Rouge de Ravel, just ahead of Peter Charles and the Irish Sport Horse ABC Quantum Cruise (by OBOS Quality 004).
