OVER 200 guests enjoyed a glittering awards evening at the K Club in Straffan, Co Kildare, for the hosting of the second annual Irish Sport Horse Industry Awards.

The brainchild of Liam and Deirdre Geddes of Ireland’s Horse Review, the concept of the Awards is recognising excellence across the various sectors of the €816m sport horse sector and were last Saturday evening’s event was compered by MC Brendan McArdle who dashed from his parade ring duties at Punchestown Racing Festival.
