PAUL Nolan and his long-standing supporter Jim Mernagh could have a real prospect on their hands in Latest Exhibition who turned over the odds-on Thatsy to make a successful start to his jumping career in the Corrib Oil Maiden Hurdle.

The strapping six-year-old son of Oscar was ridden by Rachael Blackmore after Bryan Cooper was sidelined by an earlier fall and he was making his first appearance since winning a Naas bumper last January. Neither that absence nor a switch to jumping made any difference to Latest Exhibition (4/1) who can make an impact at graded level.
