WELL connected teenagers Jack Kennedy and Luke Dempsey would appear to have the world at their feet as two of the best-regarded claimers on the jumping scene.

Both are bred for the job - Jack’s brother Paddy is a jockey while Luke’s father Philip was an accomplished amateur who has since turned his attention to training - and their skills, honed on the competitive pony racing circuit and fine-tuned under Gordon Elliott’s watchful eye, are sure to see them on many trainers’ short-lists for the upcoming Galway Festival.
