Pretreville wins in quality field

THE best European flat race run over the past seven days was Monday’s €56,000 Prix Bertrand du Breuil Longines at Chantilly. This mile contest may have only carried Group 3 status but its nine-runner field was chock full of quality and each of the first three home can be expected to more than hold their own in better company.
