THE result in the following EI115 (O) was decided by the stewards, but eventually was well won by young rider Padraig Harrington with his own Tullabeg Vision. In a decisive final phase, Harrington confidently delivered one of just three show jumping clears, to earn promotion ahead of dressage leaders Ali Holden (O My Balladeer), and also Louise Bloomer (Hollybrook Hotshot). The latter queried her late falling pole, and the possibility of a faulty cup, but her four penalties remained, which left Joseph Murphy (ALS Russian Rolex) in third and Bloomer in fourth.

This was a timely result for Tipperary-based Harrington, who having just completed his Leaving Cert is looking forward to resuming his eventing this season. Trainer Fergal Nesbit has kept the big coloured gelding ticking over, leading Harrington to comment: “Fergal is a great coach and gives me so much support.
