IRISH eventing team manager Sally Corscadden has named her four team members for the German Nations Cup at Aachen, which takes place over two days from Friday, July 19th to Saturday, July 20th. The completion begins with the dressage phase on the first morning of competition, followed by the show jumping phase later that afternoon, with the final cross-country phase taking place the following day.

The team for the Aachen Nations Cup is as follows:

Susie Berry with Stonedge – owned by Devenish Nutrition Limited

Aoife Clark with Fernhill Adventure (ISH) – owned by Richard Last & Aoife Clark

Ciaran Glynn with November Night (ISH (TIH) – owned by Susanna Francke & Peter Cole

Joseph Murphy with Cesar V – owned by Elke Vietor & Frank Ostholt

Speaking after announcing her team, Corscadden said: “We are really looking forward to competing at Aachen in the Eventing Nations Cup. It is such a prestigious and competitive world class competition with a brilliant atmosphere. We have a strong team, with established horse and rider combinations in Aoife and Ciaran, while Joseph is on an exciting new four-star horse and Susie has a great opportunity to gain experience at senior team level.”

The World Equestrian Festival at Aachen CHIO which runs from July 12th to 21st, is expected to attract more than 350,000 spectators and along with the Eventing Nations Cup, Ireland will also field teams in the show jumping and dressage Nations Cup competitions
