THE four days of racing that forms next week’s Cheltenham Festival has come to dominate the National Hunt scene to such an extent, that it has been awarded the tag line of ‘the Olympics of jump racing’.

For jockeys and trainers alike, that entails a highly pressurised four days where results are demanded and performances scrutinised. To some extent, the same can be said for the exports of point-to-point racing that are set to feature on the Cotswolds.
