THERE were only three starters, and one clear-cut winner, in the HSI EI110 (Amateur) national championship at the Horse Sport Ireland Eventing Ireland National Championships in Lisgarvan last weekend.

The winner was Northern Region member Tori Dixon who works in the marketing department of Wilsons Auctions’ Belfast headquarters. She held an 11-point lead after dressage on her nine-year-old bay gelding Mawillan with whom she was just a second over the time across the country on Sunday to complete on 21 penalties.
