PAUL Carberry is one of the all-time greatest National Hunt jockeys - a Grand National winner with Bobbyjo in 1999, Carberry was also two-time champion jockey and has amassed over 1,600 winners in a professional career spanning over 20 years.

However, in 2016 Carberry called time on his distinguished racing career due to an ongoing issue with a leg injury. Carberry fractured his left femur when he fell from Rich Coast at Listowel in September 2015, and although he was hoping to get back to race riding his surgeon advised him not to.
