MEGAN Coen has been knocking on the door all year, so it was good to see her clock up her first win in the EI 100P. Riding Droma Joey, Coen led all the way to withhold a strong challenge from the triple-mounted Sophie Foyle. Riding for Carol Gee, Foyle creditably posted a clean sheet with all three rides which included second-placed Garrangrena Fields.

Having been awarded a ‘nine’ for his riding last week at Grove, Padraig Harrington impressed the judges once again to win the EI 90J from the front (28.8). Riding the attractive dun gelding Tullabeg Vision (by Tullabeg Fusion), the Fethard rider retained the advantage from the new partnership of Correna Bowe with Mooney Amach (32.3). The latter, who is an illustriously bred full brother to the Rolex winner Bay My Hero, completed just ahead of another recent pairing, this time April O’Neill and the former Louise Bloomer-ridden Mealagh Orion.
