HE has been the story of the season so far and Peregrine Run wrote yet another chapter in what has already been a memorable campaign as he made it five wins on the spin in the two-and-a-half-mile conditions hurdle.

After victories in a Grade 3 at Killarney, the Mayo National and conditions chases at Punchestown and Wexford, this Vincent Byrne-owned and bred nine-year-old has more than done his bit to relaunch the career of former champion conditional jockey Kevin Sexton. Furthermore, Peregrine Run has amply advertised the talents of trainer Peter Fahey who seems to produce his charge fresher and better with every week that passes.
