IT’S been pretty well discussed this week, but punters should be aware that the usual round course is not in operation as it is barely raceable, and instead the inner turf course, which is effectively the hurdles track, is being deployed instead.

That is a track which hasn’t been watered since the spring and unused for racing since April, and as a result the ground will be fresh and much faster than the straight track, although still expected to ride yielding or softer.
