THE National Hunt industry was dealt quite a blow when the Ballylinch Stud stallion King’s Theatre (by Sadler’s Wells) died in 2011, aged just 20.
A Group 1 star over 12 furlongs, and sire of winners at all levels on the flat, he was well-established as being a leading dual-purpose sire, and his record has only been enhanced since then.
