LUCA and Sarah Cumani had a brilliant week at Tattersalls and their Fittocks Stud will consign two of the most exciting lots at the Tattersalls December Foal Sale.
There are just eight foals in the Fittocks consignment and they include a half-brother to the recent Flying Five Stakes winner Arizona Blaze (by Sioux Nation) and a Nathaniel own-brother to the Nassau Stakes winner Lady Bowthorpe.
Running to 979 lots (30 fewer than last year) the December Foal catalogue contains siblings to nine Group 1 winners.
Other siblings to Group 1 winners include Ringfort Stud’s Blue Point half-brother to Haydock Sprint Cup winner Minzaal and Brian O’Rourke Bloodstock’s Ghaiyyath half-brother to the Sword Dancer Stakes winner El Cordobes. They will be joined by a pair of Sea The Moon colt half-brothers to the triple Group 1 winner Almanzor and this year’s German Oaks winner Nicoreni, to be consigned by Norelands and Norris Bloodstock respectively.
The catalogue also features a Sea The Stars own-brother to the Group 1 Metropolitan winner Just Fine from Baroda Stud, one of five lots by the sire. Cheveley Park Stud consign a half-brother to Grade 1 winner Max Player by 2000 Guineas winner Chaldean, whilst Ballylinch Stud consigns a New Bay half-sister to the Group 1 Criterium de Saint-Cloud winner Mkfancy.
Starting on Tuesday, November 25th, the sale will follow the same format as introduced two years ago. Foals will sell on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, with a viewing day on Thursday, November 27th.
