THE smaller entries in the young horse classes at Dungarvan reflected shows around the country with a big win for local producer Tom Power, winning with his three-year-old filly by local stallion Spirit House. Power also went on to claim the young horse championship ahead of Dermot Barlow’s two-year-old gelding by Loughehoe Guy.
The Observer Cup for champion broodmare went to Geraldine Power from Tramore who also won the qualifier for the All Ireland warmblood foal championship.
