A PAST winner of the Spring Tour in 2017 and 2018, Galway’s Sven Hadley got his campaign off to a strong start when winning the opening round of the TRM Showjumpers Club Spring Tour last Sunday at Portmore. TRM has come on board as the sponsor of the league for the first time.

Riding his own Topspin, he saw off the challenge of 20 combinations who secured a place in the jump-off from a startlist of 45. Hadley, who spent much of December competing in Europe, was well up for the task when first to go against the clock, coming home with nothing to add in 43 seconds.
