THE North Leinster Region of Eventing Ireland held its annual general meeting and awards night in The Snailbox Restaurant near Ashbourne last Thursday week.

Once the formalities of the AGM were out of the way, and before tucking into supper, president John Swanton took to the floor to present the awards but sadly, Sarah Ennis, whose mounts claimed three rugs, was absent.
