Mongey appointed chairman of Irish National Stud
DAVID Mongey has been appointed chairman of the Irish National Stud. He replaces Dan Flinter, who passed away last month.
CEO and owner of Mongey Communications in Kildare, Mongey is also chairman of Punchestown Racecourse.
Minister for Agriculture Martin Heydon said: “I am delighted to make this appointment. David has a wealth of experience in the thoroughbred industry and tourism sector and is well versed in the stud’s activities through his current role as chair of the INS Audit and Risk Committee. I wish David every success during his term of office and look forward to working closely with him over the next five years.”
