QUALITY horses in training and winning point-to-pointers are some of the main features of the Cheltenham December National Hunt Sale conducted by Brightwells. There is also a large section for select National Hunt breeze-up horses, which starts the sale.

Including some still unknown wildcard entries, Brightwells expect to have a catalogue of about 70 lots for their Cheltenham December Auction, to be held next Friday, December 12th.

Entries were still being accepted when this preview went to press, but details of the wildcards may be found on the web at www.brightwells.com a few days before the sale.

Last December, 31 lots were sold for £1,569,000, at an average of £50,613. Among the top performers to change hands at this sale were 2014 Cheltenham Gold Cup hero Lord Windermere and the Triumph Hurdle star Tiger Roll.
